This is a followup post from part one of some of my favorite engagements from 2011…
Mobley & Ben “BB”
We took a small trip to Clarks Hill for their engagement session. When I spotted this red clay ledge, I knew it’d be perfect for Mobley & Ben to stand on, fishing poles and all. I think the solo boat out there also gives this photo some balance.
Andrea & Clay
Spring will be here before we know it, and looking back through Andrea & Clay’s pictures in Athens, reminds me how much I love photographing there. UGA students are spoiled with lots of greenspace and pretty trees. I love the way these two are looking at each other and how the sun is spilling into the lens.
Lindsay & Kyle
Here’s another session from Athens, GA. The guys always have fun with the shoot when I ask them to whisper into their lady’s ear. It always pulls out a smile and some laughter. This was shot on my 1dsmk2, which is one of my favorite cameras.
Angelica & Alan
I have no idea why there are random stumps in the woods, but they made for a perfect platform to pair up these two. Angelica & Alan were great sports with the heat of summer, and walking around in the woods.
Lindsey & Evan
This is possibly my favorite engagement photo from 2011. We met up for a sunrise shoot, and the light was unreal. It pays to get up early. What you can’t see in the photo is that all of our shoes were caked in red clay and we had to hose them off when we were done. Thanks guys for being ready at six am.
Nicole & Matt
Logistics aside, last minute engagement shoots are a great way to capture the excitement in your life. Nicole & Matt were naturals, and the classic Chevy was a perfect fit for this location in Aiken.
That’s it folks. I know there were more shoots to talk about, but I wanted to keep these posts short and simple.
