I haven’t blogged in forever. Clients and prospects may be wondering what’s the dealio, but I decided to change my workflow and finish projects before blogging them. However, I’m going back to my old ways and sneaking out some photos before the project is done, but first I want to share with you something very near and dear to my heart.

This is the first time I have ever ever shared these photos, except with one or two people. After getting their feedback I think it’s important to share something very dear to me. They have sat dormant on my computer for well over a year. They are hidden no more.

Without going into much detail, below is my depiction of Mothers Day 2008. I have a rather unique family background, but one I am rather thankful of for I know God has a plan in all of this and He will take care of me for the days to come. The first is a photo of me on a tricycle. If you know me at all you know I like anything with wheels, be it 2, 3 or 4. (sorry unicyclers I can’t stand yall’s one wheel of fury). I saw this photo for the first time in many years while visiting my biological mother in 2008. I don’t know why God puts mental illness on this Earth, but I must accept my family as they are and pray for them constantly. I hope that they are just as moving for you as they are for me. God bless.

  1. I can’t figure it out except for it has to do with your family, but the imagery is wonderful Andy. You are an artist.

  3. Man, is that your mom in that one picture being pointed at? Really awesome pics brother. I think that God puts mental illness on the earth to benefit us in ways we cannot imagine. Think of it this way. You perhaps are such a good photog since you are more in touch with certain aspects of yourself that in a ‘normal’ life you may not have had the oppurtunity to access. All you can do is to remain faithful and rely on the love you have for your family and remember that all things will come about according to his will. Even if you don’t readily see the positive effect.

  5. 8 street bike gang! wooty woot!

Who knows why God does the things he does or allows the things he allows. we can rest assured that He has a plan and all of our days are ordained by Him and Him alone.

In our weakness, He is strong.
