I have some bittersweet, yet exciting news to share with you. As of this Saturday, I am relocating to Atlanta, Georgia. If you didn’t get the memo, I’m engaged to a beautiful woman and we’re to be wed in October. I promised Jane a few months ago that I’d move in May, if a place became available. Lo and behold I found a place to call home before our wedding, so I’m sitting amongst a home office that’s half-packed up, even while I type this blog post. I cannot wait to learn a new city and be closer to my soon-to-be bride. These are exciting times!
Wait, you’re moving?
Technically, yes. However, I am happy to travel and will be back in the Augusta area quite often. I mean, we’re talking 2.5 hours down I-20. It’s not that far :). I am joining the ranks of many Atlanta-based photographers that gladly travel anywhere and everywhere. I will have a special travel rate for the Aiken / Augusta area, since I will be able to stay with friends in family vs. a hotel.
Pricing
My pricing structure will remain the same, but prices are subject to change. There are a lot of factors that play into this and I won’t bore you with those details, but do know that the more I book, the better the price. So keep telling your friends about my work. I will do my best to group photo sessions together over the span of a few days, or you’re more than welcome to come to Atlanta for a session.
Will you be back?
Possibly so. I don’t want to give away my entire personal life on the internet, but I may be back in about 1-2 years. I guess we’ll see what happens right? Augusta is a great city. I moved to Augusta in 2007 for a computer job and built this business on the side. It has been my sole source of income for the past two years.
Wait, you like Augusta?
Yes. My favorite corner of Augusta is Olde Town and Aiken is one of the most charming places to visit. I’ve called Augusta home for the majority of my life. I have a great group of friends, clients and local business’ that I all adore. I am going to miss my church body so much! I plan to return to this wonderful city many times. I look forward to broadening my client base and plan to continue to serve Augusta and everywhere else with my photography.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Take care,
Andy
